This place is now called "The Coffee Bar" and it attaches to Einstein cycles. The menu is much more limited, and the decor has a definitely different style (though still memorable). Very nice place to stop along the TART biking trail in Traverse City.

I love locally owned operations! Plus, with such a poor showing of those people with the mermaid logo, Traverse City guests should rush in droves to support this place! It's located just off 4th street and US 31 North, in a hippie-feeling strip mall that is a joy to browse- next yo an organic gardening store, and a head shop! They have homemade baked goods (insert obvious joke here), and I received a free cookie with my coffee. They have a menu I found simple, straight forward... And yummy. They also carry oatmeal for a quick on-the-go breakfast! Easily 5 STARS

Great vibe in here, from the moment you see the place to when you walk in the door (or in my case, when the coffee expert comes out and says "it's still a coffee shop!!" Because the bike store next door is actually connected!!). They just got the place from the previous owners (it may technically be Einstein's coffee, hmm) and you can tell they love what they do. The place is big and spacious and it has so much natural light and cool installation lights. Great for reading or meeting with people! Slight lack of furniture, but the soul makes up for it. So besides the excellent vibe, let's get down to products - bikes galore and tons of bike gear! Everything you could need bike wise, plus excellent tasting coffee and lattes. I ordered the iced latte and the flavor was perfect. Rich, creamy, whole - tasted like what I've been missing in iced lattes in Traverse City my whole time here in Michigan. It reminds me of a latte from Italy - simple, rich, creamy and rich flavor - not over steamed. So delicious. Ok, the view and the parking are great! They are adjacent t the coolest little shops, and the bay is just out the window. Plus convenient gas next door!! Seriously though. Great spot!! :-)

Independent Traverse City coffee shop located off 31 N recommended by a friend who spends a lot of time up in TC. We went by for a quick cuppa on a Friday afternoon. The baristas were polite and friendly and there were a small handful of customers seated inside the shop, chatting and computering. Prices were comparable to other coffeehouses and chains. The menu board was printed in a font small enough to make it difficult to read. Each drink seemed to have a lengthy, literary name that, while clever, required some eye strain to figure out exactly WHAT the drink was. I went with one of the "Film Festival lattes, the salted caramel "Jaws". It was pretty delicious and was served with a few fresh blueberries perched atop the lid. My pal told me that in the past, the bonus treats included tiny baked goods that were really awesome, but that recently they were less so.

It was just ok - cappuccino was good (it's a European small size) and there were no baked goods that everyone is talking about! We were there on Christmas Eve, so, maybe that is why. Not sure I would go out of my way to return, but, if I'm passing by and craving coffee, I would return.

So, I had an odd experience here. First of all, it's clear to me from interacting with the 3 staff members that they take their coffee *VERY* seriously. I thoroughly understand wanting to provide good quality products to your customers. Definitely agree on that point. But I also think it's equally important to have really good Customer Service skills. I inquired about a particular type of Coffee & I had 3 different people peppering me with how they make their coffee. All of them at the same time in very defensive tones, particularly the middle aged heavy set woman at the Counter. She then curtly dismissed me when I was trying to get clarification on the actual drink preparation. I apologized several times about the misunderstanding but it still didn't seem to matter. All of them acted like I had made a severe coffee faux pas & that I offended them somehow. The younger guy with glasses was the only one who was halfway pleasant. And actually my coffee drink was perfectly fine. But the whole experience was a bit unpleasant. I will not be going back largely because they were condescending & made me feel so uncomfortable about a stupid coffee drink. They need to seriously lighten up and/or ease up on the caffeine.

Posted hours changed and no update done via Yelp. I was disappointed since my partner and love to stop in on our trips here. But our last visit was as follows... (This was a compliment I paid to a fellow guest). My husband come here often to see family. It is the closest coffee shop to our location. But every visit is painful as I had them make my coffee incorrectly warm as opposed to iced. They young man with glasses made me pay for an iced coffee as well as. But what can one do when you need your fix lol.

I've been coming in for a few weeks now and really, this is a fantastic spot. Great coffee, wonderful baked goods, (savory biscuit is to die for) plus its family owned and operated, they're very nice, helpful people. The morsel on the lid is a really clever and unique touch as well. Oh and to Anne M. "Middle aged heavy set woman" really? that is just a horrible thing to say, judging from your comments I'm gonna guess you were the problem, you don't sound like a very nice person. Well a nice person wouldn't refer to someone as such. Childish thing to do which served no purpose other than to be hurtful. Shame on you.

Really cute place near our hotel. They have a huge selection of customizable coffees. Also I couldn't help but pick up some homemade candies for the kids and real honeycombs for my mom. Btw the small cookie on top of our coffee cup was such a nice touch.

Dear Crow About It Owner, I don't have an email address for you, so I thought I'd send you some kudos on Yelp! I never had the chance to thank you for the 2 mugs you mailed me! That was incredibly generous of you to go out of your way. My wife and I got engaged in Traverse City two years ago and we had coffee at *Crow About It* a number of times while we were up there. We bought one of your mugs to remember our engagement weekend, but a few months ago... I accidentally dropped our mug and broke it. My wife was sooooo bummed. THIS year was our 2nd anniversary... and, I surprised her with the 2 mugs you mailed me. And that made her (and me) sooooo HAPPY! Thanks Again and we'll definitely be back in to visit and grab some coffee on our next trip up to Traverse City! All the best!

Best Lattes Ever! Iced or hot, doesn't matter. I was ecstatic when I drove in to TC and saw the Crow's Nest is still here as it's been 2 years since our last visit. Baked goods are incredible AND if you ask you will learn something you may not have known before about coffee.

The coffee was good but my muffin was terrible. I think they dropped the salt shaker in the muffin. The wifi connection was terrible.

Visiting Traverse Cit on vacation and stopped in this morning. The coffee is fantastic and the service is great! The people working are very nice and the place is quite quaint and very nostalgic. Price is better than the hotel and much much better. Stop in and grab your coffee here.

Went in for a coffee and breakfast on our trip home. This place was a little pricey but completely met my expectations. I got a hazelnut latte and my husband got a drip coffee. My latte is pretty good-a little heavy on the milk-but I'm happy with it. They had two different roasts for the drip coffee that wasn't listed anywhere that we could see. My husband asked and is happy with his selection. The best part was the cheese bagels! Yum. The tasted like pizza. We are very pleased. And the little cookie on top of the coffee? Amazing touch.

This is the best coffee shop in town! Just up for the weekend and got the tip from a local. Every coffee comes with a surprise treat: today, the cutest, frosted shortbread cookie you've ever seen. Really good too. Came back for a take out lunch: chicken salad wrap with dried cherries and big chunks of fresh white meat. Came with salsa and chips and two more of the above mentioned cookies. Nice touch. This morning, had the spinach, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. Perfect size. Iced chai and coffees awesome too. Also, yogurt and granola. My only disappointment was no plain yogurt, only vanilla/sweetened, which is free at our hotel across the street, so was looking for a more upscale plain, Greek yogurt. This is really a more upscale coffee house so it would be a better fit

We stop ever year just before we leave to head home from the Iceman bike race. They have some good coffee and some creative specialty lattes. Their baked goods are also something you should try.

Thank goodness for this coffee shop! We "googled" coffee places and they were all closed (for good, not seasonal)! This little shop is tucked in a strip mall but when you walk in it is SO cute and cozy! Coffee was great too! Definitely worth stopping if you are on the main drag.

This lady can bake. Or no-bake, if you will. The coffee, a hazlenut mocha, decent. Enjoyable. The baked goods. Can you picture my drool? Okay, that's kind of gross. Let me just say the baked goods are heavenly. Granted, I only tried the peanut butter candy bar (like a sheet of buckeyes) and the seven layer bar. But they were ooey-gooey good. How am I going to keep off the LBs if I know that this oasis of desserts exists just a few miles down the hilly road? Guess I could walk there. But could you give me a ride back?

Extra star is for the tasty treat served with the drink & the cute decor. I had an iced chai this past afternoon, sorta heavy on the ice (duh I know iced drink but yeah....). Anyways, the taste was pretty good if a bit watered down. But the treat, oh it was pumpkiny goodness. Not a lot of seating, but they probably have wireless because I saw two people with computers hanging out. I may return to try hot chai and selection of baked goodies.
